Modelity Named “Technology Innovation Provider of the Year” by Structured Products Magazine

Increased market demand for services to improve the design, testing, marketing and post-sales support of structured products and growth of Modelity’s client base across the region secured the win.

Modelity Technologies, the leading provider of client-facing technologies for structured products, was announced as the Technology Innovation Provider of the Year for Europe by Structured Products Magazine. The award demonstrates Modelity’s expanding client base and range of unique marketing and post-sales support services positioning the company as a major force within structured products technology.

A key feature in Modelity’s success has been its ability to move the structured products technology market on from its traditional focus on pricing tools, towards a greater appreciation of technological tools that can be used to bridge the gap between the complexities of structured products and client understanding. Modelity has been providing its clients with innovative ways to market new products, to assess and report the performance of live products, and to ensure that the sales force understands the key features of new products that they are marketing.

Modelity’s primary innovation of 2010 was developing the ability to automatically generate interactive flash presentations for new products in subscription. The modeling engine takes a product’s term sheet and generates a presentation explaining how the product works, ending with an interactive simulator allowing clients / advisors to input their own market scenarios and instantaneously observe the effect on the product payout.
